Thoughtful ideas. Clear standards.
Room & Routine publishes practical room ideas and illustrative design directions. Advice begins with how a room is used, then considers layout, texture, light and the reader’s available budget.
Original writing
Guides answer a clear room problem in original language. We do not present rewritten competitors’ articles, invented testing, false reviews or unsupported claims about named products as editorial work.
Illustrative imagery
Our site gallery and article room images are AI-generated inspiration, labelled in captions, image descriptions and the footer. They are not before-and-after evidence, photographs of real readers’ homes, or verified depictions of purchasable branded products. A visitor’s own Palette Lab photograph is labelled separately as their personal photograph.
Clear tool claims
Room Studio uses curated design rules. Palette Lab samples photo pixels and offers editable colour variations; it does not identify precise paints, recognise furniture brands or produce a generative redesign. Layout Lab uses conceptual rectangular footprints and reports overlaps. It does not verify structure, accessibility, clearances or furniture suitability.
Prices and budgets
Studio budget shares are illustrative envelopes. The My Home wishlist uses the prices entered by the visitor. Neither tool quotes current retail prices or converts currencies. Named products, technical claims and current prices need appropriate source checks before publication.
Recommendations and corrections
Actual affiliate relationships and paid placements, if introduced, must be disclosed beside the relevant content. Material corrections should be made transparently with an update noted on the guide. New articles and images should receive editorial review before publication.
