A few things you might be wondering.
Does this redesign my actual room with AI?
Room Studio uses curated rules, and Palette Lab reads your photograph’s pixels. The site does not send your photo to a generative AI service or produce a redesigned photo. You can copy a detailed design brief into the AI tool you choose.
Where are my photos and saved ideas kept?
In this browser on this device. Room plans, layouts, saved story identifiers and wishlist data use local browser storage. Saved photos and palette boards use IndexedDB. No account is required. Clearing site data deletes these records.
Can I take my projects to another phone or computer?
Open My Home and download a backup. Import that file in My Home on the other browser. This is a manual transfer; the site does not synchronise across devices automatically. Backups contain your photo boards, so treat them as private files.
How do I move furniture without dragging?
Select a piece in the layout, then use the measurement form. Keyboard users can also use arrow keys to move, R to rotate and Delete to remove. Undo restores an earlier arrangement.
Are the budget and layout professionally verified?
No. Studio budget envelopes are suggested proportions. Your wishlist uses the costs you enter. Layout sketches use approximate rectangular footprints and do not know your doors, sockets, windows, structure or access needs. Measure and check the actual room before making changes.
Can I use the exported moodboard as a Pinterest pin?
The PNG uses a 1000 × 1500 portrait canvas. For a personal room photo, make sure you have the right to publish it. The export does not post to Pinterest; captions, destination links and publication happen in your Pinterest workflow.
Can I edit a wishlist item?
Toggle its purchased status directly in My Home. To change its name or cost, remove the item and add it again with the updated details. Undo restores the most recently removed record.
